Know a good counter?

All of a sudden, I'm getting pr0n popups when I check my Sitemeter stats, what's with that? So I'll be changing to another counter immediately. Which do you recommend? A free one, I mean?

Doesn't your host provide its own stats? Mine lays out some nicely detailed ones, Awestat, I think it's called.

Sounds like a hi-jack to me. You could think of changing browsers- I did, to Firebird and then to firefox. You can kill pop-ups with either one.

A good clue to a hi-jack is to go to configuration and check out the internet settings. Look to see what has been set as your default home page.

I think the counters were innocent - it didn'T happen when i checked from home, and it's not happening anymore now. I've been hijacked before and it wasn't that... Strange popups have happened to other people at work, I've heard, so it may have been something wandering around the LAN.
