tell her she needs to go in the other direction, and much harder, if she wants to really show you who's boss. it's also fun to tell them "ha ha ha! it is merely a flesh wound!!"

Our skinny black one is a master of the teeth. Snap! Suddenly you have blood not just welling up but dripping all over stuff. Ten minutes later, though, he's Mister Friendly again, so we try to control ourselves. Some cats puke. He bites. But if we ever have need for a taxidermist, he'll be the reason.
