i have a really sensitive sense of smell. (which might just be the point of a sense, being sensitive?) but it was not only me who noticed: in vienna, u1/u4 stop schwedenplatz, huge posters marketing some ice tea brand, and big wafts of ice tea stench! horribly sweet and sticky... i guess it's still better than subway stench mixed with bum stench, but did anyone ask? i felt like my nose was totally invaded and i couldn't even do anything against it. like this ice tea smell was totally attacking my neurons and building connections to... whatever, mostly feelings of confusion. so, great, the next time i drink ice tea i will feel a great loss of memory and won't be able to make sense of my surroundings or whatever, thanks a lot! unfortunately, i'm only in my 2nd semester of law, i don't really know what measures i can take, and anyway, the worst thing is i don't even have an enemy or anything. it's just stickily sweetily waftilies coming out of nowhere.
ah, anyway, now i got it: the reason why i'm starting to hate ice tea now is that its smell (and closely connected, the taste) gives me the feeling of utter helplessness.
