Seriously, I do. Remember the time I went to Rome, and through some unfortunate destiny of mine, the one day i chose to go to the vatican, there was this big celebration for crazy catholics there and even the pope poked his head out of the window. actually, he was in front of the dome, under a red roof, but he was so small he just could've poked his head out of the window. anyways, when i just recently went to cologne (and, as my dad put it so accurately "oh. you stayed in cologne with a woman allergic to scents". "oh" just describes my experience there perfectly), there was the "evangelische kirchentag". pronounced cherry day by the germans. took me a while to figure it out. so many people. and they all had orange cloths tied to some part of their bodies. at least i didn't see any religious figure this time. i just went shopping happily from one h&m to the next.
a bad ghost from the past came to visit me,
he told me to tell you good bye
I refused…
now look what has come of me
the past cast a shadow
I always knew that was there
I long for tomorrow and
I wish you were there
