once in a while, being positive!

things, stuff, people i like:
A
Ben & Jerry's! i used to only know it from little girly romance novels where the main character would get dumped (or... her grandma told her she was heiress to a small country in europe, sound similar) and then... she would go out and get a pint of ben & jerry's. and eat it all up. a very american dream-y thing to do. until i found a teeny-weeny pizzeria in the town where i was staying in france, and they had it! i mean, we don't even have it in vienna... and don't you just have to buy something called phish food w/ small chocolate fish in the ice cream? well, i do!
Cinnamon chewing gum. almost as good as chai and always in my bag- ready to grab.
D
Edinburgh harp festival. i've only been there once, a couple of years ago, and i really really want to go back as soon as possible. i consider many of the harpists teaching and performing there the best harpists there are, and it's a great chance to do a workshop with them.

Nuages... i adore looking at clouds, watching them form and unform, catching a glimpse of what eternity might mean... i think of all the things listed here, clouds have fascinated me the longest

Sweating. no, honestly, i just feel so alive, that is... if it is good sweat, after sports, running or something. if it's just plain old sweat cause of a hot summer day... that's no good. it has to be your fault.
T
Urban decay. nough said! glitter-zombeee
Vending machines! selling drinks, soups, sweets and so on. hot drinks. pizza. haägen-dazs. heh. whatever.

tribute to... first run in a long time!

after learning the deeper meaning of the clutch, brake, and gas tonight i went on a "run" with my dad tonight. "run" because we did a small round through the village. then went home and strechted. but it was good, oh! i forgot how good it was to feel the sweat running down your face. feeling muscles burn is good, too, but i don't think this run will have that effect. maybe after another run, tomorrow. we'll see. but now sport has me again! i absolutely adore to do sports, i just never ever have the time when i don't force me to, but now i'll just try to find some. mmh. every move counts.

tribute to marvelous m.

hey old frog! this is meant to pay tribute to the girl with the magic macaroni and cheese hair (just kidding, magic hair minus the american national dish) who is in the meanwhile most probably making out with a meandering magician in menacing denmark. to be honest, she's just blond with veeery long spaghetti straight hair. and she went to denmark, probably because she was just soo sick of everyone going, oh my god, your hair, it is so long and so blond and oh, berk. god. i could understand that. and knowing her gift for languages, she probably doesn't stand out because of any accent... anyway, the thing is, she loves denmark, only god/the devil knows why, and she organized a language course and housing, and really went there. i admire her hugely for going through with this, and actually making her dream come true. people dream a lot, and many pretend to be content with those fantasies, just because they heard once too often they were worthless, stupid, or just too dull to become anything or do what they want. well, all i can say is, go for gold, girl, because you are worth it.
